PURO Hotels, a Polish boutique hotel chain, provides a modern respite from the overwhelming charm of old Poland. Upon stepping into our suite in Poznań, the TV spoke, explaining how to put our key card in for light. An added high-tech bonus was the touch screen tablet next to the TV, allowing us to dim the lighting in certain parts of the room, order food, call the front desk, play music, etc. The eclectic and colorful rooms offer beautiful city views, especially during dusk over the rooftops. We were welcomed with delicious chocolate balls and coffee along with comfy robes and slippers. With locations in Poznań, Kraków, Wroław and Gdańsk, PURO is the ultimate destination wherever your journey through Poland takes you. The NIFTY No. 20 served a delicious and robust brunch in the spacious lobby area. Everything from the breads and jams are made in-house by Executive Chef Jakub Ignyś who strives at reinventing traditional dishes with a modern technique. The Old Town square, complete with a wonderful Christmas market (only during the holiday season), is located right around the corner from the hotel. The ornate and colorful building facades were a delight to photograph and explore; this postcard-perfect town is the perfect addition to any trip through central Europe!
