A day trip from London: Oxford, England

There is something so incredibly magical about Oxford that keeps us returning time and time again. You feel as though you’ve stepped into a Harry Potter film, and might run into the whole Hogwarts crew around any corner. You can travel to Oxford several different ways from London, but we recommend BlaBlaCar or taking the train, as the bus can take several hours. A notable place to get your afternoon tea fix is Vaults & Garden where you can enjoy a “cream tea” in a gorgeous green oasis nestled in the middle of town. Another Oxford staple is going punting. Grab a picnic and hit the water for an afternoon of punting down the canals (just make sure the elected group punter has decent balance)! The Bodleian Library is definitely worth a tour with books that date back to the 15th century. Our personal favorite thing to do is wander through the parks and courtyards of the different Universities. Most of the colleges have a fee to enter, although we may have snuck through a couple side doors to snap some photos!
