Located in the heart of Vesterbro (arguably Copenhagen’s hippest neighborhood), the Andersen Boutique Hotel is one of a kind. It’s punchy color scheme and comfy modern decor are the perfect compliment to (and respite from) the bustling streets of CPH located just out the main entrance. We couldn’t believe that the hotel was around the corner from the main Copenhagen train station – which is a huge plus if you’re lugging a massive backpack and camera equipment around like us! They use the innovative CONCEPT24, which allows guests to stay a full 24 hours from the time they check in (which was perfect since we had an evening departing flight). A complimentary Wine Happy Hour is every evening from 5 – 6pm, where guests gather in the lobby to mingle and unwind from a full day of sight-seeing. The morning breakfast spread (complete with a cereal bar and a selection of herbal teas) was almost as delightful as the staff, everyone we encountered during our stay was wonderful! The rooms are even more impressive than the cooly-dressed lobby, with an array of sizes and accommodations to fit any traveler’s needs. We absolutely loved staying in Vesterbro, there were several popular dining, shopping and bar options within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Check out some snaps from our stay below!
